It's official.....

Yep...another storm day! there was nothing going on when i got up at 7am this morning so I got kiddo up for school, got me showered and lunches made. she sits down to eat breakfast...we turn on the radio (still nothing going on outside yet) only to find out school has been cancelled for the day! WHAT???? omg....so i go tell hubby this who is still sleeping and since he still wasnt feeling 100% still and came home early from work yesterday he is going to stay home with kiddo instead of making her go to work with me....she is thrilled to say the least...lol.

when we were listening to the radio again about weather and storm watch the announcer said that it should be starting anytime now with what is showing on the radar and sure enough....i looked outside and it was slowly starting. MOTHERF'R!

the weather is calling for snow to start this morning...heavy at times through out day 15-20cm expected this afternoon and early evening.

*insert sarcasm here*....OH its going to be such a great day! (note the mood im in to the right)

im heading to work in just over a hour and i know that with school being out now and the storm just starting im in for a very busy morning. im just hoping that my relief person will make it in at 2:30pm. hubby joked that she should remember to bring her sleeping bag and food since we never close and we must be there to keep the store open...lol

my only hope is that we are plowed out saturday morning before noon time because kiddo and hubby both have hair cut appointments. kiddo really needs one and is past the length allowed for cadets if she wants to continue to wear her hair down and not pulled back into a bun. we shall see.

Unbelievable!.....

got up this morning and hubby informed me that we are under a winter storm warning again for tomorrow. ...and guess who opens the store tomorrow....ME! from what the warning/watch says its going to get worse as the day goes on so opening the store should be no problem at all. the only worry i have is if the storm starts to get worse before school gets out and they close school early which means we have to figure out what we are going to do since i have to work until 3pm when school normally gets out. i cant just leave. hubby says he will cab it home or get a ride from someone and either have kiddo walk home in the mess or if someone gives him a ride home they can whip by the school and get kiddo. I DONT KNOW! just have to wait and see what comes of this. good thing im not working saturday when they say by saturday morning we will have at least 15cm of snow again on the ground. wohoo! im sure it will all be done by the time i have to be at work again sunday morning. ??? its supposed to be sunny and a high of 3c sunday....we are on a weather roller coaster this month.

yep...its cold.

BRRrrr.....its cold here! the temp right now is -13c with a windchill of -32c and the same will be for tomorrow. i dont mind the snow but when its so cold outside it hurts....its too damn cold!

havent been in the mood to blog lately. im not planning on stopping my blog...i think im just in the usual slump most of us go through. just havent been feeling up to writing about my many downs right now with my knee and my mouth. im still reading all my usual blogs daily and plan on at least posting 2 times a week minimum. who knows...i just might come back like a lion and post a few times a day like some of my regular blogs.

This, That and maybe a little bit more.....

Yesterday seemed like the longest day to me. after I dropped off hubby and kiddo where they had to be i went down to the waterfront, parked the car and watched a large cargo ship unload whatever it was onto trucks down below on the dock. that lasted about a hour until i realized i hadnt taken my knee pill yet and if i didnt get it in soon i would only be able to get 2 in not 3....so off i went back home to veg.

if you were wondering about or who i was mad at yesterday that made me feel like i wanted to commit myself to the crazy house it was kiddo. no details....lets just say she is pushing her "im almost a teenager" attitude a bit too far with me in the mornings...and im so not a morning person. hubby is actually the one helping me through all this. i feel like he is walking on eggshells though around me for fear im going to explode towards him (although i have snapped a few times at him but only out of frustration of whatelse is going on around me).

on top of all that...im still harboring that anger towards the ASSHOLE (the ex). i just cant seem to let it go and here its been 5 years now since me or my daughter has seen his ugly mug. anyway....thats part of my emotions.

my knee stuff still. and now for the past month i have been denying the pain i have been having in my mouth on the back bottom side of my mouth. its now i think getting to a point i cant ignore it anymore and it just terrifies me to have to go to the dentist. so that stress isnt helping me either.

going back to work saturday is stressing me out also....and thoughts of whether or not i really need this $200-$300 extra a month job is nagging me and i dont know what to do. its not like i work a lot....2-3 shifts a week...but still. i have to go back and see how my knee does and just go from there.

plus i have to at least stick it out until summertime. dont need us in the hole any farther then we are or the little summer trip we are planning isnt going to happen. that is going to be covered by our tax return for the most part but still have to have another thousand to cover it all. more about this another time.

i go back to the doctors in 3 weeks and i think im going to have to talk to him about my depression again and i really do think i have to get on something to help. the rollercoaster of emotions has been getting worse the past few months and the episodes seem to be staying longer. yay...more pills!!

oh...btw...the weather today is frigid... the last on the radio i heard it was -20c with a windchill of -35c. BURRRRRR! and no...they didnt cancel school either. the radio station was getting so many calls (like they control the school board) asking if they just didnt read it or people missed the closers. nope...school was a go today.

so off i took them to work and school.... i came back home instead of going out to the grocery store and freezing anymore than I already was and took a nice hot shower and some breakfast before popping onto here to bitch and whine...lol the store isnt going anywhere and we arent in any great need for anything specific at this moment.

oh i could go on about tv stuff and other celebrity gossip but then you would be reading another full page and i can ramble on endlessly especially when im all emotional and stuff. so im not.

but i will leave you with this little fun fact about me....

ever have one of those moments when you forget if you took your daily pills? im having one of those this morning/afternoon. cant remember if i took my knee pill or not and i have a headache from the cold wind outside and sinuses buggin me....grrr. since im not sure if i did take my pill i have to wait until my next pill time to take one....what a pain in the butt.

we shall see if its a snow day tomorrow when we wake up and listen to the radio at 7am. kiddo has her hopes high and was upset we didnt have one today also...lol she's so lucky to even have a chance at snow days....when i was a kid living in so. california there isnt such thing as a snow day unless you live up in the mountains.

WooHoo...shortly followed by a loud YIKES!...

we finally got our snow yesterday! somewhere around 10cm and school was on a one hour delay to clean up the streets a bit before letting the muchkins make their way. the snow on top of my car had to have been at least 6 inches deep. driving was messy on the roads but it was so nice to finally have snow.

but today....YIKES! our temps are wicked cold. we finally also got the major cold that is hitting a lot of north america. this morning the temp was -20c/-2f with windchill being -33c /-24f (my F temp might be a little off but close...either way its friggin COLD!

with the windchill so low school was cancelled for the day so i only had to get the hubby off to work and back home i am until i have to pick him up later today. burrrrr! no need to go out so im staying in.

BINGO!!....

yep...i got to yell bingo last night... along with the other 7 people that yelled bingo that exact same game...lol. it was a $75 prize if it was only a single winner but since there was 8 of us we all received $10. that was early on in the night and i didnt get close on any game after that. Mother in law won $100...with no others sharing the prize with her.

today is foggy and rainny....almost all the snow is gone again and feeling like Spring outside. I really do want winter to come....dont get me wrong, i love spring weather also cuz of all the rain and damp mornings but i really do love the snow and freezing temps. no, really i do!
