Day of (EXTRA) Love.....
Im one of those people that believes everyday should be Valentines day if you are in a relationship. so to me, today is just another day...but with a little more love to share. me and hubby both decided that its just another day and arent exchanging gifts. little notes of love and a few more hugs added to the day is what it will be. we got kiddo a little something though.... she loves Webkinz, so we got her the Love Frog for V'day to add to her collection with some chocolates. she has named him Cupid since its Valentines day and he does have hearts all over him. it was a toss up between that and Aphrodite (if the frog was a girl). lol
everything here is icy again. the roads themselves arent too bad but the drive way is horrible. we got out this morning being very very careful. school was delayed by one hour. when i got home from taking kiddo to school, i got out of the car and down i went. *sigh* yep...i slipped. i half caught myself but landed on my friggin bad knee (of course). now my knee is all jacked up and throbbing with pain. im scheduled to work tonight but i called out after killing my knee since its not feeling so great. it hurts even while im sitting here. havent looked at it again since after falling. it looked like it was bruising up too.
anyway...thats my day so far.
oh....i have to say. not sure if i should or not but i will give a bit of info now. those that are Canadian....have you watched CBC Test the Nation? well....after watching the last show and going to the website to see the results they had. I checked (like it did after the show before this one) to see what groups of people they are looking for to be on the show. the first time we looked after the first show we (me and hubby) didnt fit into any catagory. but this time we both fit into different catagories. he fit into "past reach for the contestent" and i fit into "american living in Canada". so we both sent an email of our interest in being on the show. I got a reply back with a questionaire to fill out. he did not. so i filled out the form and sent it back with a photo of me they also wanted...now the waiting game begins. the show that this will be for is on sunday March 30th. im sure I will know what is going on within the next few weeks since i would have to plan a flight to Toronto that weekend.
