Happy 2008!!!.....
Hope you had a nice new years eve. we stayed home like we always so and watch tv. i love to flip the channels back and forth between all the new years stuff.
no resolution for me. i havent made one in 8 years and i kinda like it that way. one less thing to stress me out.
we are in the middle of another storm. they said we are to get anywhere from 15-30cm of snow with this one. and high winds making for some bad conditions outside. started around 3am this morning. we were hoping for hubbys work to be closed today....he called at 7am to check the storm line and said it was delayed until 10am with another announcement at 9am. so we go back to bed and call then. WOHOO!! he has a snow day! so today we are having yet another lazy slack ass day.
yesterday was beautiful outside...the sun was shining and no wind. kiddo was outside playing in the snow for bit with her friend. but the snow was too fluffy to make a snowman.
there is one thing im starting to do this year. something i wanted to do last year but didnt want to start it mid year. everyday im going to take a picture outside my frontdoor or window then post it on my flickr account (click on the link to the right). im going to post a picture a day for the year 2008. i know some days there isnt going to be much a chance. but with only having 2 pictures so far taken there is such a difference in the days.
