Merry Christmas...
Hope you had a wonderful christmas day. we did here. no snow for us...but the only time i stepped foot out of the house was to put trash out into the can.
me and hubby decided to cut back on christmas this year since money was really tight. funny how I though the kiddo would be disappointed in only getting a few things this year. she wasnt! we loved the things we got her and all is good. do you think she will notice it again next year if we cut back yet again? lol
I got a nice pair of slippers that i wanted from hubby...they are soooooo comfy and warm. and kiddo got me 2 movies....Hairspray and the Corpes Bride.
after watching hairspray a month ago...which i went in reluctanly because im from the old school movie and loved that one a lot, i wasnt sure i would like the new one. i was wrong.....i totally loved it since it was based on the play not the original movie. im glad i got this movie to watch over and over again. GOOD MORNING BALTIMORE! the other movie...corpes bride is one of my all time favs...i can watch that one over and over again. can you tell i like movies with lots of music in them?
me and kiddo got hubby a couple books. he loves to read the Uncle John Bathroom Readers so we added to his collection by getting him two of the newest ones: National parks and one that is Trivia. i have to mention i love reading these books also. they are so fun to read and you actually can learn a lot of neat stuff from them.
cant think right now ....might be because while im typing this we have Paula Dean on foodnetwork on and its all about chocolate. yummm. she is so fun to watch...i just love her accent.
I have to say i was surprised by the number of comments that i had on my last post. i really truly didnt think anyone stopped by there anymore. im so thankful AND greatful. i guess those that stopped by do the same thing i do ....i always check into all my blogs even if they havent typed in ages just to see if they happen to come back to life. it does happen...sometimes.
we have another day here of doing nothing. yep, nothing! no school or work tomorrow for us and most things here in town are closed for boxing day. WEEHOO!...im sleeping in again.
