sleepless night....
at about 2am this morning i was wake and laying there when i heard something in the distance. my ears perked up a bit and then i opened my eyes and again laid there to see what i thought i was hearing. yep! it was a thunderstorm out in the distance but was putting on a great light show. i listened to it for over 30 minutes before it was close to us. there was way more lightning then thunder with this storm but the thunder that we did get was my favorite of all. its the thunder that just rolls past and not loud claps.
kiddo came out once to see if we had heard it and say she was a little nervous over it. we went over the whole thing about storms and sent her back to bed. we talked for a bit and i commented how i wish she had the enjoyment i get out of thunderstorms when we get them. but then i took it back just a bit...because i had said after the fact... "thunderstorms are so romantical...and they get me all hot inside!" lol "oh wait...she isnt allowed to get hot inside yet....ewww...never mind" LOL and we listened some more to the storm and i finally dosed back to sleep sometime after 3am.
hope you are having a nice week so far.....
hugs
im adding in the pictures (LOTS OF THEM) from our trip to halifax and a few extra right now. so they will all be in today.
