counting sheep doesnt work for me....

not enough sleep for this girl is not a good thing. i got maybe 1-2 hours sleep last night due to the high winds we had here on the island. the weather network was calling for 10-15cm of snow turning into ice pillets/rain overnight and wind gusts up to 90-100km/hr. the snow didnt do half of what they said...but it was mostly freezing rain changing over to rain with lots and lots of wind. i couldnt sleep due to the wind howling outside. i dont know why i have such a hard time sleeping during any weather event that is loud. ...but i just couldnt sleep.
what snow we still have outside looks gross. lets just say it looks like we live on mars now. all the snow is a orangy brown color (our dirt is orange here due to the iron in it) and the cars are just covered in the same dirty residue....bleck!

school was only on a one hour delay today so the kids arent too happy....lol

im off to take a nap...something i havent done in a long time while they are at work and school.
