sorry I havent updated in awhile....
I just havent been in the moood lately to write. lots on my mind but some stuff just doesnt go on here for privacy reasons.
good news....my cold was very minor and was nothing big. we got kiddo off to mother in laws place thursday and then had an evening out at trivia since there was no Fantasia party. we did just ok at trivia that night....i think we came in 4th or 5th. not bad i guess since we were the only team of 2.
friday we went to my doctor appointment to make sure about the pneumonia and he said i was fine. got the results of the blood work...it was better but still not the best. he said that i was on the right track cutting out sugars the way i am but need to tweek it down a little more...like sauces and carbs. i have to say that i am feeling a lot better since i cut out the regular soda and other sugar items.
i also asked him about my knee. we talked about it for a bit and he sent me for xray per my request just to make sure i didnt screw something up with my surgery i had just over a year ago. so off we went to the hospital for xrays...it was quick...no wait at all. i will be calling him on friday to see what he sees in the picture.
as far as my knee goes...thats why i havent been the mood for anything. it just hurts all the time. nothing seems to work....absorbane jr....aspercreme....ibuprobin....tylonal.....i can go on...nothing works. he did recomend another ointment called A535 Sport (something like that ...i have it writen down)...have to go get it. been putting it off so i dont buy something and find out it wouldnt help anyway cuz of what he found in the xray. yeah im a real positive person...lol sorry sweetie for not being the most pleasant person to be around lately.
so on that note.....im cranky and over the past couple days i have snapped a few times both at hubby and kiddo. im not a nice person right now cuz im in constant discomfort.
busy week....work today and 2 other shifts between now and friday night. mother in law is coming friday afternoon just before i have to leave for work....i have to fix dinner and go. but before she gets here you know the drill......CLEAN HOUSE!
oh...i finished decorating the house yesterday. all we have left is to dress the tree....lights are on it but kiddo wants us all to decorate it. we didnt do it last night cuz we had to go to the christmas parade in town which she was in with her girl guide troop. so we decorate tonight.
then my plans saturday afternoon is to take mother in law to bingo... then come home get her and kiddo some dinner...change my clothes and then head out to hubbys work christmas party for the evening.
