change of plans....
this whole evening out thing has been such an ordeal (slightly). we have plans for kiddo to go to M.I.'s place for tonight and tomorrow night right after school. we have even talked with the teacher to have her do her speller test today since they are normally done fridays so she doesnt miss it. check.
get a call 2 nights ago from M.I. asking if it was ok that we drop kiddo off at hubbys sisters place instead where M.I. will be and they will stay the first night there. not a problem since S.I.'s place is half way between us and M.I....30 minute diffrence in drive time. cool... hubby now doesnt have to use extra vacation time to leave early from work.
last night....we get another call from M.I. saying that we need to now drop kiddo off at her place instead now...change of plans. *sigh* fine...not a problem....hubby will just get off earlier now and we head out right after school to be back home with around a hour to spare until we have to go to our party...just enough time to eat dinner and get ready.
this morning (8:00am)....rush hubby to work 30 minutes earlier then normal to work knowing he had to leave a our early at end of day....get home and kiddo tells me that someone called (she didnt answer it)...guess who? M.I.! she says plans back to us dropping off kiddo at S.I.'s place...i put on my best "joking" voice and said...."i wish you guys would make up your minds"..."hahaha" . its so frustrating to me to have plans change several times.
i call hubby (8:10am) and tell him the news and he just shrugged it off (im so not that way...maybe thats why i love him so). anyway....after the call with him i finish up getting kiddo ready for school, fix her lunch and do my "to do" list for the day.
*ring ring* (8:20am).......OMFG!!! now what? it was hubby calling to tell me that our friend having the party tonight had to cancel....she has anamonia (sp?) oh great....now im worried that im on my way to getting it cuz i was hanging out with her last saturday and have been sneezing and blowing my nose like crazy since late sunday/early monday.
so now we arent sure what we (me and hubby) are doing tonight. we are still taking kiddo to M.I. place as planned since we went to all the trouble by pulling her from school tomorrow and the pingpong of where to drop her off. we well decide later what we are doing...either we are going to trivia at the bar, the movies, or just hang out at home and relax.
i have a doctor appointment tomorrow that i was going to cancel since hubby was going to be off with me so we could sleep in...but since hearing the news of our friend being sick im going in as scheduled and have him make sure my lungs are sounding ok and all that.
