slow going....
HAPPY DAY AFTER YOUR BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!!
It will be one week tomorrow that i hurt my foot by dropping a large piece of press board right on top of it. Its still very sore and cant put on a tennis shoe. i can wear my crocs but i have to have it half on so not to touch the top arch of my foot. it also still hurts to just even touch the top of it...meaning i cant even run my finger lightly across the top. OUCHIE!
the weekend went good. took mother in law to bingo friday night. she won $150...which was half of the main prize cuz there was another winner. i won nothing. saturday i took her to "meat" bingo and i won one game....i won ground beef...about 5-6 pounds of it. that night me and hubby went and played trivia. we were a team of two and all other teams were four or more. we came in 5th...not too bad if you split it points per person. hard questions that night.
sunday we headed to the apple orchards. i slowly walked/woddled around picking a few different varieties. at the start the helpful worker let us taste a couple of the different kinds they have. i feel in love with the "honey crisp" variety. its tart..but still sweet and very low in acid. we got mostly those. i posted a few pictures on my flickr account of our adventure.
yesterday i made hubby meat loaf for his birthday dinner....his favorite and requested meal. with all that meat i won saturday i didnt have to buy any...lol
have a great day today....
hugs
