thoughts running around in my head this morning....

Yesterday I bought myself a sewing machine. But I didn't get instant gratification

because the one I bought I got through Sears Catalog and wont get here until next tuesday. *sigh* I could have gotten one from walmart but after lots of research and input regarding feature and so on for a beginner I went with the Kenmore from Sears.

Kiddo thinks im going to be Martha Stewart or something like that. she is saying that i can now make her dresses and pj's when we get it. ummm.....NO. im totally a beginner with all this. sure i played with a sewing machine when i was her age with my grandma and then once in high school for 2 weeks during some class...but thats it. i have lots of learning to do. for starters all im worried about it is threading the darn thing....lol

back to work in 2 days. not sure how i feel about it yet. we shall see the next few weeks how it goes with all the changes since i left.....which was only 2 weeks ago but its like i have been gone over a month.

school starts 3 weeks from today. again...not sure how i feel about this one yet either. still have to supply and clothes shop....all this is kinda awaiting the check the ex said he sent and im still waiting. if i dont get by tomorrow he gets a nice email from me about how he says one thing and does something else.....he wants me to be friends? PFFFFF! yeah right.

when school starts back up i have to change my work schedule again to be available only during the hours of school time and the weekend. shall see how that goes over now that my manager is gone and someone is now minding the store.
