sad day at our house today....

Prince William passed away today.

Prince William was kiddos fish she grew very attached to the past few months. we noticed he had become very sluggish the past week and today i was going to take care of his tank and put some "remedy" stuff in the tank also hoping that would help....but we were too late. he was on his last fin and we had to send him to the big sea. he was too far gone IMO to help and didnt want her to wake up the next morning and him floating belly up.

it was so sad. she was strong...she did the ceremonial flush...saying she wanted him not to suffer anymore and down he went.

hard not to cry when your child sobs when you hug them. i have only experienced this type of cry from her when me and her father divorced and he had moved away. it breaks my heart to hear her cry like that.

i promised her a new fish when she got back from her second camp she goes to and she was happy about that...but says no other fish will replace prince william....again there are tears.
