C is for .....
I was tagged the other day by Roc Rebel Granny (Ann) and I'm going to honor it as I always do when I get tagged.
I have to come up with 10 words that start with the letter C. The first initial of my blog name or my real name. I'm choosing my blog name. So here goes....
1. COOKIE. cant have the title for this entry without singing along with the cookie monster. my favorite cookie is the good'ol peanut butter.
2. CANADA. the place i call my home ...since 2002.
3. CITIZENSHIP. im eligible to apply for my citizenship the beginning of 2007. im planning to apply at that moment in hopes i will receive it before my 40th birthday or by next Canada day.
4. CALIFORNIA. how can i not put this word in my list. cali is the place i was born and raised. i miss disneyland and mexican food the most all. but i dont miss the earthquakes.
5. CANTALOUPE. one of my top 3 favorite fruits. yummm
6. COOL. not something that I am...but the way i like my weather. give me a day that i can put on a light sweater and not dont have to worry about breaking a sweat.
7. CLUB Pogo. online game site that me and hubby belong to. club pogo is an extension of Pogo...which is FREE....but we pay a yearly fee to get lots more games. i recently won $802 US for just playing one of the games and getting the prize on my jackpot spin. long story behind it...but i got the check a weekago...more on this another time.
8. CONFEDERATION BRIDGE. this bridge links Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. the bridge is 12.9km (roughly 10 miles) long and was completed May 1997. this bridge brought me home. its something that makes me smile everytime i drive over it. if you are in a high profile vehicle you can see over the rim of it and look out over the Straight....its beautiful. the only problem i have with it....there is a fee when leaving the island...its $40.50. i think that islanders should get some kind of break. there is also a live webcam on the bridge.
9. CUDDLE. one of my favorite things i love to do with hubby while watching tv. he is my big teddy bear and he keeps me warm and safe.
10. CARL. my grandpas name that keeps popping into my head trying to come up with C words. i think he is trying to tell me something. he always made me laugh with his sense of humor and i'll always remember him flirting with the waitresses when we went out to dinner. he loved to golf and square dance. both my mom and daughter have names that come from his name.
so there you go....my list of C words. this one really made me think. i pass this onto anyone who might want to do this tag. just let me know you are doing it so i can check it out when you are done.
