5 hours I will never get back......

last night we had to take kiddo to urgent care/walk in clinic. nothing serious but something we had to check out right away and not wait until monday when our normal doctor is back from vacation.

i left work after 2 hours of work to rush home and take her in...we signed in at 7:45pm. we didnt get into the back rooms until 10:20pm and then we didnt see the doctor until 12:15am (somewhere around there...i was so tired). from what i heard there was an emergency rushed in via abulance and that got priority over the walk-in's....so that put the breaks on the whole thing for sometime.

everything was fine with the kiddo and after a 5 minute visit with the doctor we were done. we got home last night at 12:40am.

got something to eat at mcdonalds....i was starving since i hadnt eaten anything since lunch time. got the kid in bed and finally sat down in my bed to eat and watch the first episode of big brother that we recorded. im so excited its back. was in bed at about 1:40am.

if our doctor wasnt on vacation i would have walked out at 10:30pm and went to see him in the morning...but we had no choice.

on that note im dead tired today. hubby had today off so we got to sleep in....but of course....after being up so late last night the lawn guy was here mowing the yard at 8am! GRRRRR! then the weed eater....i was so grumpy when i got up this morning.

just hanging out today until i have work at 4pm. not too bad i guess since im not the closing MOD. i can handle that.

tomorrow we are going to see the SOS Cardboard Boat Challenge at Spinnakers Landing. its always fun to watch people that have made boat race each other.
