Tooth fairy cometh....
last night the tooth fair came to our house and it was like a sceen from american funniest videos.
let me start by saying our 11 year old still believes in this and when her tooth was loose last week we knew that in the coming week we would have a visit. on monday she was saying her tooth was "really" loose and decided it was time to pull it. we didnt think it was loose enough to leave it a few more days and try then...well...she didnt listen and pulled the tooth.
she was excited that the tooth fairy was going to come that night. we told her not to be too excited cuz the tooth wasnt ready yet. she put the tooth under her pillow tuesday and wednesday night and nothing....no money...not even a note.
last night she decided to put it on top of her headboard shelf so it wouldnt be missed IF the tooth fairy came that night. sometime around 3-4am this morning i was awake and so was hubby, so i told him we should swap the tooth out for some money. he said he would do it and quietly (with every creek the floor could make and squeek of the door) he entered her room and putting the money down and then grabbing the baggy that held the tooth. i hear this sound of something falling onto the floor and bounding...maybe a bead or something. he closed the door and came back into our room ....i said to him "im going to laugh if that was her tooth that dropped". he replied..."better start laughing then" . lol omg...he dropped her tooth and couldnt find it.
he said we could try and find it in the morning if she hadnt already found it (and I did) but if she would of found it and tried to put it out again for money we were going to leave a note saying "nice try!"
oh how funny it is to be a parent.
happy good friday ....hugs to you
