catching up....
like i said in the past post....it was a both a busy and lazy weekend.
first off...some bad news. on friday...yes...good friday...we set off for an afternoon drive. it was going to be a short one but none the less a nice drive before i had to go to work that night.
not 10 minutes from home a car coming the other direction kicked up a rock and it hit my windshield. BAM! nice chunck chipped out but not cracked. but still...something i was hoping that could get fixed. two minutes down the road we heard another sound....both thinking that another rock hit but it was the spot that was hit splitting. my windshield had a huge crack it it!
the glass place was closed friday so we went home and i was sick to my stomach that my new car was injured. i didnt want to go to work but it took my mind off things.
saturday the glass place was open but they had to order a new windshield and would be in late monday and can fix on tuesday. we called in the insurance company and got all that taken care of for when i take the car in. $100 deductible paid and its all fixed now.
saturday hubby was called to cover trivia for our friend. so he took the job knowing that would help us with the $100 now needed. it went really well....he made that amount and a little more...cha-ching!
watched the movie Prime and Zathura. both really good....but i didnt like the ending to Prime.
Easter sunday hubby and kiddo joined me for church. it was very nice and i was so happy they came with me. kiddo did really will behaving and i was proud of her. we had a nice quiet dinner at home with the three of us. Ham, cheddar potatos, stuffing and a double layer lemon pie.
monday was very quiet here. we did absolutley nothing. played on the computer and watched lots of tv.
tuesday i had work all day while they were at school and work. the glass guys came and got the car while i was at work and brought it back before my shift was over.
its very windy and rainy today a high of 4c. have to do some dishes (yuck!), and lots of laundry (as usual). we shall see what gets done...lol
i was tagged last week by ellen and i still plan on doing it. just have to think about my answers.
