weekend stuff....
what a relaxing weekend this is.
yesterday we slept in and then just kinda layed around watching tv/movies. watched Where the Truth Lies. i really enjoyed this movie for a few reasons. i loved the way it was done...its like watching an old 50-60's murder mystery story. (thats when it was set) and a loved the story line. i also liked it for the erotic content of the story. if you are offended by sex scenes then this movie isnt for you. its not that bad IMO...the seens arent that long but there are a few. they are a bit like soft porn...dont really see full on "stuff" but you do see the act and you know whats going on. yes...for the men there are boob shots. i really thought though this movie was well done and the seens went with the movie. i kinda figured out the plot 2/3's of the way in but enjoyed it none the less.
then in the afternoon we went and played trivia at a local hotel restaraunt. there were either 7 or 8 teams consisting of 2 or more. me, hubby and kiddo were a team. with all the trivia experts in the room....we came in 3rd place overall! wohoo! we got $10 certificate for the place and put that towards our bill. we would have been in 2nd but hubby went against one of my answers which i wasnt 100% sure about...but i was right. oh well....we had fun and kiddo had lots of french fries to keep her happy.
today im heading to church this morning. the Reverend of the womens group i belong to is the guest speaker today and i told i would be there. even if she wasnt i had plans to go since im not working.
going to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this afternoon. kiddo watched it last night and really liked it. but complained it was too long....its 157 minutes long. we shall see later how i do...i normally get figity with long movies like that.
i have my second class tonight for belly dancing. im excited to go and learn something else to go with what i learned last week.
