olympics, girls night out and hubby....
happy friday to you. having a relaxing day today....not like most of my days arent somewhat relaxing.
hubby is taking a couple days off for himself. you know how you just need those mental health days to just regroup and take a breath?....well...its one of those. so we are having a nice day today just hanging out....watching olympics. going out to breakfast after i get done here and do some little errands that arent much.
the olympics are so fun to watch. right now we are watching the snowboarding....boarder cross races. omg...they are so cool. its the first time in the olympics. you have 4 boarders on the track at the same time and they race down the hill. its something to watch.
went to the movies last night. saw Last Holiday with Queen Latifa in it with the women that have girls night out every now and then. its been months since any of us have gone out and they gave me a call yesterday to invite me. i had a fun time watching this movie with them and was nice to catch up whats been going on in our lives.
the movie was really good...but then again i like pretty much everything Queen Latifa is in. LL Cool J is her love interest in this movie and what a great job he did. btw....when did Timothy Hutton become a bad guy. .....omg.....he plays such a smarmy, mean, ass of a guy in this movie and you hate him the moment you are introduced to him.....great job Tim!
i have work tonight for a few hours...not so bad...im the runner for the night. meaning all i do is put away movies and and take the load of the cashiers so they can do that. i also get to be out with the customers and can talk with them about movies.
tomorrow we are taking kiddo with us to an afternoon trivia in town. we shall see how she does. she is going to take her gameboy with her as well as this new magazine i got her called "the magazine"....lol its for kids and i enjoyed flipping through it.
have a great day today...im off to breakfast with hubby. we are going to this small place that makes the best omlettes IMO in town.
