One of Canada's top chefs was in town....

Here it is...the picture of Michael Smith and (yes its true) Me. He is a Chef from FoodTv and has 3 shows...The Inn Chef, Chef at Home and Chef at Large. we love his shows because he makes things look so easy to make, he is not afraid to admit he doesnt know something and will...he's cute.

i felt so short next to him....and im not a short person. im 5'8"....he is 6"7"!! we had a very nice conversation since we were there early and not a lot of people were at the store yet. we talked about his book, me moving from cali to here and how i liked it and if there was anything i missed. i told him that i really missed mexican food because it is pretty much non existent here on the island. he said that when he is in california he always gets In-N-Out Burger. *shocked look* that was such a strange moment that someone like him, from this coast knows about this burger place that is only in Cali, nevada and arizona. VERY COOL. he is very easy to talk to and hubby and myself thought he would be a great guy just to hang with.

thanks Michael for a nice conversation and signing our book. hope you decide to have cooking class here in our town sometime since this time we missed out. btw...sorry i touched your butt when i put my arm around you for the picture...but i didnt realize your waist was so high *blushing*.
