christmas.......is it over yet?...............

what a weekend! everything went well with mother in law here. me and hubby rang in christmas by watching Blazing Saddles...what a way to welcome santa....lol.

kiddo was happy with all her new things and even hubby was suprised by all the goodies he received. we suprised mother in law with her own stocking and she couldnt say enough about how much she enjoyed having her own little goodies.

overall...another christmas done and over. nothing more to say really....can you tell its still hasnt returned to what it used to be for me. in time i guess. going to keep the tree and stuff up until after new years eve.

wow...dont have much really to say. very blah today. hubby is also off today so we slept in and we're just hanging out and being super lazy....besides...the weather outside is yucky and have no need to go out.

oh....yesterday thinking that since its "boxing day" here i would for the first time go out and see about getting some after christmas deal. well...let me tell you....nothing was open yesterday! today is the big sale day....the day "after" boxing day sales. i dont get it. oh well...lost the urge to spend more money anyway and the roads suck to even bother. besides...its warm and toasty in the house right now.

another thing i did this weekend (yesterday) was watch all the shows about the tsunami and how technology is helping improve warning times and such. saw lots of new footage of devistation that happened, lots of survial stories and even more...very sad stories of losing loved ones. the shows were also talking about how the west coast of the US and Canada are at risk for the exact same thing if not worse then what happened in India. very scary stuff actually.

so..now that im rambling on about stuff...i think im going to stop the torture.
