2005 going out like a lion....
one thing after another is making this year end one not to remember.
if all the drama with my family in cali isnt enough to drive one nuts....the car is having its last laugh for the year. had to take the car in this morning cuz it started to sound funny yesterday morning and got worse as the day went on.
went by my mechanics and he directed me to a muffler shop. our flex pipe was broke. so off we went to the muffler shop and sure enough...thats what it was. while he was fixing it for us he showed hubby that something connected to it is bent and one of the reasons for this is the mounting bracket(s) are weakening. grrrr.....one thing after another. so off we went back to my mechanic to ask him about this and if we could put this off since we are looking to buy a new car before the end of april 2006. he wants us to come in so he can just take a look at it. said it should be no problem to not fix them unless its really bad (i trust his opinion the wont screw me). so i have an appointment to get that checked next thursday morning after i drop kiddo off at school for her first day back after winter break.
other then that mess.....its raining here today and almost all that snow we got over the past couple weeks is gone. so that means kiddo is sad that she cant go play in the snow during her break.
work tonight so that will give kiddo and hubby time to play PS2 while im at work. and i work tomorrow night ...new years eve....but only until 10pm....not so bad...didnt have plans anyways and we normally have a quiet night at home since i like to be with kiddo at this time.
oh....one more thing....havent talked to my mom yet. been putting it off ...but i think im going to call her tomorrow ...dont want to piss her off more by not callling on new year eve.
