dental saga continues.....
Lucy...I'm HOME!
home from the dentist. i didnt get the tooth pulled or the root canal done either. after this past week of "healing" pain and just rawness from last weeks work being done ...i have been putting up with the pain from the other side of my mouth from the tooth i had filled just a couple months ago (story about that). so after 3 nights of not sleeping do to the throbbing pain that as gotten worse the past 2 weeks ( i mentioned this last week to the dentist..but it got worse...much worse during the week)...i had to have this other tooth tended to before the other work could be done. so i had yet another pulpectomy on THAT tooth and im scheduled to have the other side worked on next monday morning (root canal and tooth pull on right side).
another week of anxiety about my next appointment. im just so tired of my mouth hurting. this is my goal: to finish all this dental work so im not suffering like this every darn year. i let things go until i have a full blown fire going on and its so painful.
the promise i made to myself: dont put off any of this work that is half done. first step...im going back next monday again to finish last weeks stuff. and then im going to make an appointment for right after january 1st to finish this tooth on the left side. then from there continue to put out the fires so everything is healthy and i have a pain-free 2006 (after all this is done of course).
pudding is chilling in the fridge....i got some fancy ones by Hunts ....chocolate carmel, lemon marainge, and banana cream pie. yummmmm. but im so tired of soft foods. im craving so bad some good old crunchy tortilla chips and homemade salsa. :( in due time i guess.
have i ever mentioned my dentist is HOT? lol i guess thats the plus of all this.
oh...and speaking of hot canadian men....this coming wednesday Michael Smith from foodtv is coming to my small town for a book signing at a local supermarket. im hoping to make it there and get a couple pics of him.
