Misc stuff...
Happy monday! woooo! lol can you tell im excited for it to be monday? so hard to get up in the morning after having 2 nice days of sleeping in.
today is also picture day at school for kiddo. she looks so cute....i dont have to say this just cuz im her mom....but SHE DOES!
my knee is feeling pretty good today also. it now only gets sore after being on it all day and im down to only taking regular ibuprofin for it. now if i can only get rid of these 2 blisters i have on my right foot that the doctor says just have to go away on their own. they arent normal blisters...they are way under the skin and are hard...they hurt like hell. have had them since before surgery so that doesnt help the walking either...lol i joked with hubby about me falling apart at the old age of 38 and im "the old grey mare" in that song...lol *eye roll*
yesterday was a fun day.... after living in Canada for over 3 years now we went to our first live hockey game. first off...im not a huge hockey fan to begin with so it wasnt on the top of my list of things to do. but we were looking for something new to do as a family that didnt cost us too much money. $20 for the 3 of us not including any munchies we want. not so bad for 2 hours of entertainment.
so off we went to watch the junior minor league team here in town the "Summerside Capitals".
i have been to roller hockey games back in california and have watched some hockey on tv. but like most sports its much more fun to watch live.
the game was great (see link for details of this game)...in the third period there was lots of fighting and misconduct penelties...IT WAS GREAT! lol our team won 10-4.
kiddo loved it and wanted to know when the next game was cuz she wants to see another game. so i guess we found something that we can do as a family on sunday afternoons.
not doing much today...raining outside right now...so i dont feel so bad for hanging out wearing sweatpants and tshirt while i watch tv and play on the computer while hubby and kiddo our gone. lol
