Beautiful rainy day....
what a great day to stay inside today! its about 9c outside and has been raining all day.
as you can guess i didnt go to work today. i called out yesterday so they had time to get someone to cover my. im very lucky my boss is very understanding about my recovery after surgery. i will be going in on my next scheduled shift and see how it goes. can only do what i can and everyone heals at different speeds.
here in canada thanksgiving is monday...still not used to that. feels weird not having halloween first. either way...i work that day and we are having "thanksgiving" meal on sunday since i will be off work a little late to have dinner for the kiddo on a night before school. thats all good to me...thanksgiving isnt / wasnt a big thing anyways for me growing up and from what i have learned in the past 3 years neither for hubby and his family either...so its all good!
as you can see on the right hand sidebar i have been rating movies. as i see movies i have been listing them and what MY rating is about the movie. i have been watching lots of movies this past week since i have been home.
this past week alone we have watched....robots, house of D, the interpreter, guess who, sahara, house of sand and fog, kicking and screaming, and unleashed (danny the dog).
im very easy to please with movies. i dont nit pick about believablitiy or crap like that. if a movie can take me away for 2 hours and either put a smile on my face or make me think then it has done its job. if i have to start looking at a clock and wonder what time it is....then its just so so (that will get it a 5-middle of the road). if i end a movie and i say..."wow"...then it gets an 8 or 9. i havent yet (this week) seen anything that deserves a 10. but have a quite a few 8's and a 9.
its just something for fun on what im watching since i can get movies before they come out to the public on tuesday release dates (have to know what we are renting...so its work really...research). planning to get another tonight to "research".
new movies this coming tuesday: Unleashed (danny the dog), Kicking and Screaming, Sisterhood of the traveling pants, and Kingdom of heaven.

ps....knee is getting better even more. still sore and forget i cant bend it like i want when im laying in bed...ouchie.
