Day 2 for kiddo, new job, new site and seen movies....

2 days of school complete. day one went ok for kiddo. she had a good time with one exception. there is a boy that was in her grade 3 class (not in gr4) but now again in her grade 5 class that loves to pick on her. he even gave her problems last year on the play ground that ended up getting physical and him being suspended from school and from there out we had no problem. but yesterday he decided to see what he could get away with by bugging her on day one.

in class cuz their last names are alphabetically close they were seated near each other...so that was changed quick. then at recess he decided to start poking at her and wouldnt let her be. i was pissed off when i found out from her and this morning i went to the office and talk to the principle to nip this in the bud now.

no child should have to worry about others bothering them. and no child has the right to pick on another whether it be verbal or physical. i wont and never had tollerated this shit and this year will be no exception.

SHE HAD A GREAT DAY TODAY! not one problem today with "brat J". she was happy and excited saying this year was going to be a piece of cake. lol... yeah and she is saying this on day 2 of grade 5.....wait until day 20 and we shall see....lol. she likes her new teachers and her best friend is in her class with her.

on another note....i started my new job today! so much to learn and all i did today was train on the computer system there reading all the procedures and stuff. once i get all this down and doing things hands on ....im going to enjoy working in a video store. cant wait for my next shift this week :)

yet another note: a couple fellow bloggers that dont have their blogs anymore (nick and betty) have started a bullitin board for those of us that just want to chit chat about things that we might not put on our blogs or continue something there then in our comments area. its called: It's a small world after all. if interested all you have to do is register and have fun.

watched a few movies the past few days: beauty shop, lilo and stitch 2 and crash. ALL ARE GREAT...and should be checked out. many thoughts about the movie crash....its a must see for sure. very serious drama about racism. i found it some parts very disturbing in the way its very raw and true to reality how things are (but shouldnt be).

anyway.....have a good rest of your day (or start of the day).....BIG HUGS!
