Viva Las Vegas....
hi from Las Vegas! its hot here....was 103 yesterday and heard it was to be 108f today...wohoo!
things are going great on our trip. had another little bump in our road along the way but nothing serious....tell you about it when we get home and do a wrap up of our trip.
we are staying at a timeshare place for 2 days thanks to my sister and her hubby...very beautiful place...i took pics of the room to show when we get back along with all the pictures we took of the grand canyon. then we are staying at another hotel after my mom leaves for one more night here.
the grand canyon was spectacular!!! when we first saw it our jaws dropped...it was breath taking to see and how big and deep it is. we drove along the south rim hit a few of the view points and by the 4th one we hit our Griswold moment....lol ....."yep, thats a big hole." and started our trek to phoenix.
sea world was packed...but had a good time. the kids sat near the front at shamu show and got soaked at 9:30pm ...they were freezing after....lol.....we were nice and dry.
went to disneyland also this past week. had a blast there....i miss going there so much....thats one of a few things i DO miss from living in california. my ex-sister in law told me that while we were at disneyland that there was a bomb scare in the park. WE HAD NO CLUE! but hubby said that he noticed that the trains were stopped for a long period of time while he was waiting for us on a ride. so that might have been when it happened.
kiddo is with her other grandma and cousins visiting while me and hubby are here in vegas with my mom. she is having a blast from what i hear.....spending most of her time in their pool.
we both well try and post more along the way. oh...and im sure his will be more interesting then my posts...lol
