are my eyes open?...

I love thunder storms. growing up in southern california we didnt get much weather activity as most parts of the country (i thought i did). so now living on the atlantic coast i get all kinds of weather....even get to see the seasons now.

last night was no exception. after going to bed sometime around midnight...i was so tired...my knee was killing me and had just gotten off work. i dozed off and was sleeping really good. until about 3am' ish.

i heard the rumbling....this time it wasnt my tummy...and layed there wondering if i heard correctly. YEP....i did. we had ourselves a nice thunder storm rolling through last night. lasted about a hour or so. hubby and kiddo sleep right though most of them. i cant...i lay there with my eyes half open...fighting to keep them open just enough to see the next flash and the wait for the thunder. im like a kid with this stuff. i love it.

finally got back to sleep sometime after 4am and up at 7....ok ...maybe closer to 7:15am. i was just so tired. i still am but i cant lay down this morning...have to take the car in yet again to have them look at the breaks and the fix the squeal thats going on.

weather today: high of 21c rain ending this morning...but showers returning again tonight with possible thunder storm (wohoo...hopefully before bed time tonight...lol)
