well now....look at the time. IT'S 3:00AM IN THE FLIPPIN MORNING!!!!!!
woke up in a coughing fit and now cant go back to sleep. layed there for 30 minutes and just couldnt do it kept coughing. so i got some water....did my inhaler to help the weezing a bit...and now im sucking on a cough drop also. but i didnt want to fall asleep with the drop in my mouth so hubby suggested i watch tv or go on the computer for a bit until things calm down. HERE I AM!
this is for the birds....oh wait....even the birds are sleeping at 3am in the morning! the night i needed to sleep the most with all the stuff i have going on today - saturday.
oh shoot...just remembered something....crap.....i forgot to get a birthday gift for the birthday party kiddo has to go to later in the day....now i have to fit that in to my schedule also. grrrrrr! oh well...IM SUPER MOM / WIFE....I CAN DO IT! *cough cough bullshit!* lol
i have a damn song stuck in my head to at 3am in the morning......Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani. and yes...this shits bananas...ba-nan-as...or how ever the hell it goes...lol i love the song...but not when i want to sleep.
some good news.....trivia went great last night for hubby. i had a blast meeting some of his co-workers i havent met before...and also got to get reaquainted (sp?) with some i hadnt seen in some time. had 3 other people on my team....one is a friend of ours...he is very smart IMO....and 2 women from his work...one i met one time before...shes 10 years younger then me...cute...and sweet as can be....lovely girl. the other woman...i would say in her 50's...such a nice woman and funny as all get out. she was the trivia virgin at our table...but she did great! she got a couple answers we had no clue one. such as......the acronym for K.I.L.L. T.H.E. T.O.Y. is what kids toys? (answer at the bottom). she was so funny...the moment we got the question she says....."oh my god! i have had too much beer for figuring this stuff out" and then turns to me with half an answer on her paper and was asking the other part of it...and we got it by her getting the first part. too funny.
over all....had a great time last night. even had one of the women invite me to their next girls night outs. im so excited for that cuz i havent had a girls night out in so long. infact...since i have moved her i really dont have any really close friends to even do that with. i really hope this works out....i can say i havent had any close friends in years cuz of being screwed over by one in 1994 and i have distanced myself from having any really close friends. sad really. i do want this....the funny thing is i havent had any really close friends in so long i dont know if i know how to work on this sort of thing...im so used to holding back and just letting others do there thing. i crave having female friends...but im scared also of letting myself get attached and then them dumping me cuz of some stupid reason.
listen to me...i sound like a kid with no confidence. in a way i dont have that confidence i come off having. so im going to put an effort into this friendship thing and take her up on us going over there sometime to just hang out. something i wouldnt normally do...i would just wait for the other person to call and then usually im busy. thats my problem. i know another blogger that has the same problem as me (so she writes in her blog...hi amanda) about the wanting of female companionship and just having close friends to have fun with....and im glad im not alone on this one.
wow....look at all i wrote....im rambling on here...glad this is here or poor hubby would be up listening to me babble on...lol i honestly dont know if any of this made one bit of sence...but i was typing anyway.
im off to read some blogs and hopefully go back to bed here soon.
