our adventure into moncton....
yummmm taco bell.
had a great day yesterday on our trip to the mainland. our first stop was to ValueVillage (thrift store)....got my kiddo 4 pairs of "like new" jean for $18 before tax. omg...was a great start to my day...and she loved them.
kiddo gave us a scare though. we were brousing the store she was with at least one of us all time. next thing i know we were all looking at some albums and turned and she wasnt with us. asking if the others knew where she was they all thought she was with us. i went into a panic. i went straight for the front area looking around (this store is big) and they were looking in back. i was panicked cuz while we were shopping i noticed a couple older men just wondering the store watching people....could have been security or husbands of ladies shopping. so i started thinking the worst. i look back to hubby and mother in law flagged me that she was there. i went back to her and gave her shit for walking away...she said she went to the bathroom.....she never told any of us...i was pissed. she has done this to me 3 times in her life and i have gotten more grey hairs from it. the fear of your child missing is horrid.
from there we took the mother in law to the Tim Hortans at the BigStop we had to meet her ride at and he was there early...so off she went and back to moncton we drove to get some lunch....wohoo TACO BELL! i stuffed myself...it was so good and missed it so much.
from there we headed to the big mall in town and bought a few shirts for the kiddo. hit the disney store and bought a few shirts there also.
nice to be in a mall again also. dont have a big mall like that on the island and the mall there in moncton reminded me of the malls back home in california.
we tested our communication skills during our drive home. leaving the mall we decided to stop back at taco to get a few burritos for later when we got home and headed towards the highway. i ended up in a lane that HAD to turn so i turned and figured that i would hit the highway sometime down the road...lol well...i did....way down the road. we took it as an adventure...stopping twice to check the map to make sure we were heading the right way.
was nice to be out with the family and having fun together (except for kiddos event wondering off).
exciting life huh? lol cant wait for vacation....just over 4 weeks to go...WOHOO!
