What?...what?....what??..........

SNOW DAY today! not sure what the snow fall amount was overnight but school is closed on our side of the island. ....had to drive hubby to work and was a bit slippy...a lot of ice patches on the road under the snow.

kiddo actually made me laugh this morning after i made breakfast. she said...."well at least today i have a chance of being good". the story behind that is ...yesterday she had to stay for after school detention for not doing ANY work in class. the school, teacher and us have an agreement that she well stay as long as it takes for her to get the work done. (the teacher is great!)....well......yesterday she was after school until 5pm....yep...5pm....2 hours after school let out. thats why her comment was so funny to me....i just shook my head told her im sure she well be an angel today.
