movie night....

last night i decided to rent some movies...somthing i havent done in quite sometime. hubby sent me alone and told me to pick whatever i wanted. we had some free rental certificates so off i went.

i picked up 3 movies. first one being Finding Neverland with (sexy)Johnny Depp.

I loved this movie. johnny Depp is one of those actors that sucks you into a story and believe the character he is playing. I think he is the best actor out there right now. the movie was moving and left me in tears. It is the story of James M Barrie and how his experiences with the Llewelyn Davies family inspired him to write Peter Pan. an absolutely fabulous movie.

i also rented The Final Cut with Robin Williams. it was another great pick. imagine having an implant in you from birth that records EVERYTHING in your life. when you die someone puts together a "rememory" of you. what parts of your life would you leave out? are there things in your life that you wish you never did? how would you "want" to be remembered? its a very interesting movie that kept me wondering how far away from this are we really? check it out.

the third movie i havent watched yet.....well fill you in on it another time :)

hope you are having a great weekend....mines ok. friday night i went to play some "Friendly prize" bingo (win items ranging from $5-$8...such as case of pop with chips, stuff to prepare a spaghetti dinner, laundry soap, etc)...i won 3 games...wohoo! then yesterday (saturday) i had to call bingo for the womens group i belong to. it went well...i only messed up twice one being..called N52...lol instead of saying G52. besides my excited "bingo" weekend...i have done nothing...lol just kicked back...watched tv and movies.

hubby is playing in a poker tourneyment today....hope he does well.
