walmart, wendys and a good book....

The joy of going shopping alone. i wont take advantage of this ever again.

today hubby is home sick and offered to keep an eye on the kiddo while i went shopping to Walmart. i joked and said that maybe i should go shopping and then get me some breakfast somewhere and read my book. he didnt hesitate or laugh and said "why not?". i was only joking really...i would have just went and got my stuff done that i had to at walmart and came home.

so...off to wallyworld i went...took my time browsing Easter stuff and doing the rest of my shopping. by the time i went there and got done it was nearly lunch time...so i went to Wendys...grabbed some lunch at the drive thru...and drove down to the harbor to sit in my car, eat and read my book. was so nice to just sit there with no interruptions and just read.

it was there for nearly a hour and a half and decided i better get back home not to take advantage of this.

i sure cant wait until school is back in next week...lol *pffft* im such a good mom!
