Snowed in Monday...
good afternoon.....
first off i have the worst sinus headache there is in the world. have had it off and on now for the past 2 weeks and today is the worst...grrr. going to talk to my doctor about alergy stuff when i go see him in a couple weeks (if i make it).
today...monday...we are all home. we are having a blizzard here. was to come in around midnight last night...but didnt really start to appear here (where im at) until sometime after 5am...but now my car is nicely cocooned with snow and cant get out my front door...wohoo! lol we knew the schools would be closed today...but werent sure if hubby was going in or not. if he was i would have had him "cab" it cuz i wasnt going out and shovel during all the blowing. so we listened to the closers on the radio and nothing about his work...he called the "storm line" for work and nothing...meaning...he had to go in. since work for him doesnt start until 9am we went back to bed. he got up about 830am and called again to check...and they were closed for the day (the day shift). this only happens a couple times a year at his work...so its nice not to have to go out into the storm.
so....(im saying this a lot in my post today im noticing...lol)...we went back to bed again...and slept until 10:30am'ish....boy was it nice to sleep and not worry about getting up. but omfg i woke up with the worst sinus headache yet again. lazy day for all of us. ate some breakest/lunch...read a bunch of blogs...then i made myself get started on helping kiddo do her project for school. a diarama (shoebox thingy about a book she is reading) i told her i would help her on it by making the funiture and so on out of paper and she had to do the rest (drawing things on the walls of the room and putting things together). because of my headache i decided to do all this while she was taking a bath so i didnt have any interuptions and i can get it done as quick as i can. well...my part of all this is done and its now up to her and hubby to do the finishing touches.
thank goodness we are stocked up on toilet paper, pepsi, cheese and meat...lol our essentials to survive in this house...lol
