Snow day #1 ...winter 2004

Today is the first "snow day" for the 2004-2005 school year. kiddo couldnt be happier. when she realized it was later then normal for us to be up and about she said we woke her up late and now she wasnt going to make it to school on time....lol we laughed and told her it was a snow day and she hopped and hawlered around the house...lol

we have a freezing rain warning lasting until early afternoon here.

i do have to say though that this fall/winter has been pretty calm from what i have experience the past 2 winters living here. 2002 and 2003 we had snow down just after halloween....its already into december and we had a couple days of snow in november but was washed alway from rain.

good thing i have today off from the store.
