Dinner or Supper???

so here it is....an ongoing "discussion" at our home. since moving here to the island i have come to realize "they" say things different. lunch is dinner and dinner (evening meal) is supper. WTF??? ok...i get so confused with the lunch/dinner thing....the dinner/supper thing isnt so confusing. but in my opinion....the only time dinner is supper is when you are having it with your grandparents!
