happy friday all
another end of a week and i havent posted on my blog. not much going on but the normal b.s.
worked more hours this week since im back working the day shift now since school is back in. i have also been sick with a horrible cold that went to bronchitis...so im still fighting that. i have been getting myself ready for another group testing session for the GST center tomorrow. feeling confident on this one...did really well on the practice test. oh...mother in law is coming over today for the weekend. we are making mustard pickles ....mmmmmmm (btw champ...i noticed you were going to post your recipe...we might have to swap them....i think these are the best...lol). we are going to prep them today and get it started....then off to bingo for us gals tonight ...wohoo! I BETTER WIN SOMETHING! lol been one of those days already today....after dropping off the kiddo at school i was in route to drop off hubby at work....something wasnt right.....after 2 corners i thought i had a flat....good thing i was infront of Johnsons Tire place..lol.......pulled in there and sure enough...i had this piece of metel sticking out of my tire!!!! wtf??????????? geez....so $15 later and hubby 30 mins late to work....GEEZ.
im also a bit upset lately cuz of some news i got on weds night. i get this call at 9:45pm (which to me is late for someone to be calling my house unless its family or an emergency)......its my daughters new troup leader for girl guides. come to find out my daughter isnt in the troup because the person that was doing the registrations didnt tell us moms that had girls in brownies last year moving up to guides had no place to be put.....their troup was already full. AGAIN........WTF?????? all she told me was ....sorry but i already have 19 girls in the troup...blah blah blah....but this other troup "might" have space "if" she gets another committed mother to help out. well.....sorry to say i cant help out unfortunately....left a message for this other leader on the same night (figured if someone calls me that late with that news im going to continue the circle).....no return call yet (today is friday). im so disappointed in the Girl Guides right now. if what this leader told me is true ...then there are 7-10 girls right now that were in brownies last year that wont be part of guilds this year due to lack of leaders. i havent told my daughter yet that she isnt going to be in it. im so upset over all this. this is my childs only social thing that she enjoys being an only child and now its not going to be there this year. oh...and i got moneys from both her grandmas in california with them understanding that this money was to go towards registration and uniform. now i also have to call them and let them know so it doesnt look like i lied to them about the money. it all just sucks! i need to find some type of group for my daughter to get involved in ...so she can have some form of social activies other then school. *sigh*
