earwigs ..........

the bug that is going to be the death of me. last august when we moved into this house we live now we had earwigs. they only last from mid july to (if i remember right) sometime sept/oct. when it starts to cool down a bit. but omg......what a pain in my a$$. our 9yr old is so paranoid of any kind of bug...crawling or flying. last night or should i say early this morning ~~~5 AM ~~~ my hubby and i were both shocked away by a loud pounding noice...she was in there killing a damn earwig! she said there were 3 together and she got one. i will say for her to even try and kill it is a start...she would never have done that....oh ...yesterday! so hubby tried to get the other 2..he didnt see them and thought she was just seeing things. she has a nightlight in here room so obviously now...she was awake and now staring at the floor. we go back to bed and not 10 mins later (after i start to fall back to sleep again)....*SMACK!* *SMACK!* she got one more.....so out she comes (her door is noisy when she opens it so that is loud...) she turns on her light, both bathroom lights...flushes that bug down the toilet and goes back to her room wtih all the lights still on. hubby goes back into her room and talks to her about all this and they spot #3...lol he gets it for her and talks to her some more. we finally get back to sleep i think about 6am or so...not sure....that last awakening really shocked me away. then the alarm goes off at 7:30am....omg...i felt like i had just got back to sleep and was hit by a truck.

cant really do much for these things one inside.......have stuff down by the doors and in corners but still. ewwwww. this is one bug we didnt have back in southern california. spiders sure...but earwigs!? *bleck*

so....caligirl today is one grumpy mess.......lol good news is......i work tonight! wohoo
